I found changing to Intel RSTe drivers v4.3.0.1198 WHQL put my RAID performance back to normal.

    Hey,

Just saying here, i have installed 1701, i feel like theses wayyy less "f*ckups". In 1302, when i used to reboot alot after a problem of anything, i would get random post codes and qcodes freeze. I've done many reboots under harsh conditions with this bios and no freezes, no weird qcodes etc. I feel like asus i really stabilizing this board and am i wrong or the boot sequence is faster ?

Anywho, thank you asus, keep up the good work! i'm so glad i got this board, full of option and functionnality, it's a charm to work with.

    Went back to 1502

I went back to using Bios 1502 myself.

1601 and 1701 causes a noticeable loss of snappiness/responsiveness in my system, especially in web browsing.

    Using 5960X @ 4.7 on 1.3v – GTX 980 SLi – 850 Pro 512GB AHCI

@Sylver123: Can you tell me, how is the way to mod the BIOS, like you did? Your BIOS works really fine. I just want to mod future BIOS myself.

    Hi,

Am posting this for those who are thinking about trying out 1701. I'm running the 4.4 BIOS overclock.

Prior the BIOS update I was running +0.59 on Adaptive Voltage, I've managed to get it down to +0.56, it might not be much but it brought the OC temp from 71c to 65c at 30c ambient.
