280X no display issue

Hi all, after a bit of advice.

Got 2 x 280x in crossfire and the other day decided to give the main card a break and switch the cards in the rig around. however when I rebooted there was no signal. swapped them back and everything was fine... so tested them 1 by 1 and found card 2 refused to output from DVI-D or HDMI outputs.

Tried in another rig and same issue of no output. I've RMA'd them to the retailer but they've tested and advised all ports work. received the card back and same issue exists..

Anyone got any ideas on a fix ? banging my head against a brick wall atm

Any possibility you could test one or both in a different system? - One possible way to verify retailers test.
