0003B has sorted out the PCI ex problems I have had since 1005 with BSOD code 116 on Tri SLI GTX580. Since 1005 I have had to manually put Gen 2 in. This bios can remain on Gen 3 and work fine. The changelog for this Bios I believe is all PCI ex related from Shamino.

I have the 32gb Version of that ram you talk about Sisco and mine works fine and boots at all speeds upto 2333mhz with Tweak 1 or 2.

Because it isn't official or close to. Until now, the 1005 is the recommended one.

Same problem I follow this procedure:
1 with 0003 bios and CCMOS
2 enters the Biois and set everything as before except the rampage tweak that should be put in mode1
    Save and exit.
So go and should work well.

RampageTweak is a parameter of the bios:
Extreme Tweaker tab \ dram timing control menu \ RampageTweak setting in mode1.
    Frequency and timing I use 2133 CL9-11-10-28 1.65 V

Just a quick question, why don't we have one single source on the ROG forum, instead of having BIOSes spread all over different forums?
I am saying this not to run this thread, i am willing to hand it to someone else (if forum engine allows you to), i just want one source. So that i don't have to check three different forums.

Let me try and put this in perspective.

There are many different kinds of users who buy the RE4 motherboard. One of those groups is the extreme bencher and uber enthusiast. This groupd does not care one fig about stable or safe bios. They want performance and more performance. Those folk are very important for the dev of the extreme products. So the ASUS bios team post beta BIOS on forums that are extreme. So most of the people who download the BIOS from Kingpincooling for example do not run system at stock. Ever.

The safe route is the official product support page. There you find the bios that has been beta tested (by extreme users often) and deemed to be sound for general population use.

Kingpincooling is just one source. There are others. Some are located in Europe and others are in Taiwan. HWBOT has consolidated the list and has a comprehensive list of all SB and 2011 chipset bios across all vendors.

Hope that explains why these bios are spread all over the world kind of thing and not in one place.

    There BIOS's
