G551JM Freezing, Shutdown Problems
So about 3 months ago i got this laptop and i will say that i do love it and had no real problems. I mean i did get a BSOD 1-2 times but it fixed itself and hasent happened again. Anyways to the point. about a few weeks (1-2) i got more problems. such as laptop will shutitself down. even if its not warm or or hot (got a cooling pad btw) and sometimes in games even old simple games my laptop would jsut freeze up drop to 1fps for 10 so seconds then resume. Gotta say it gets really annoying at times like when im playing MGTPP or even left 4 dead 2. I looked this up and seems like no one else really had this problem or answered really. So far i tried to force programs to use high performance card. I also tried to clean out vents to see if was dust blocking it or something. Also tried to update graphics drivers and stuff also. Im not really that good with computers so yeah i dint do much. Also! about the shutdown. my battery didnt die. and it happens at the times i keep my laptop plugged in. So please anyone out there can help me with my problem. I tried to contact support but no answer in over a week form them =\

Try a clean install of windows 10 then youll be working with everything updated and we can rule out software problems.

Clean install right with a usb where you deleted the partitions and lost everything on that drive?

Then your looking at a hardware issue. Have you upgraded or changed any hardware?

RMA it none of the hardware choices are cheap, the fps is worrying but the shutdowns speak of memory or motherboard failures It sounds power related. Sorry we coulnt find a more simple solution.
