Which G74SX Model should I choose?

Ok, I've got these two models that I've been looking at,
The AH71 http://www.amazon.com/Republic-Gamers-G74SX-AH71-17-3-Inch-Gaming/dp/tech-data/B005UUS6MO/ref=de_a_s...
and the DH71 http://www.amazon.com/Republic-Gamers-G74SX-DH71-17-3-Inch-Gaming/dp/B005PAJI4Y/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
As far as I can tell the only things different are the HardDrive space(Less in the AH71), more Ram(AH71), and a lower price tag(AH71), because of this i'm leaning more towards the AH71.
My question is which one is better or is there another model that trumps them both? Sorry if the information I give is pretty vague.

Another significant difference that accounts for the big price gap is the optical drive. The AH71 has a DVD/CD drive, while the DH71 has a BD/DVD/CD drive. Also, if those specs are corrects (Amazon does make mistakes sometimes), the AH71 has the "limited" video bus, since it has 2 Gb VRAM.

There's no one configuration that's better, or "trumps" them all. They're all the same basic computer, but just configured differently. Deciding which features you want, and finding the configuration that matches your preferences, would eb the best set-up for you.

They both have 3GB vddr5 from what I can see. So thst means 192 bit bus.

Like I said.....Amazon can be worng. But the specs I read said 2Gb VRAM. Obviously, it would be important to check another source to confirm which is correct.

But where do you see 2GB?

If you can afford the price difference, the DH71 is a very good price. Faster processor, blu-ray, and extra 750GB hard for only $200 more is unbeatable. The Blu-Ray alone is near $200 shipped from parts store. Hard drive shortages have driven the price of hard drives up as well. Although I would sell the 750GB drive and grab an SSD.

I agree; go with the DH71 for the 2x the HDD space. Comes in handy more than 16GB of RAM would and it is cheaper and easier to upgrade RAM later if you need it.

Ok, thanks for the speedy reply, I'm still pretty new to decent computers (First and only one right now is a Toshiba Satellite from 3+ years ago) so this upgrade is going to be pretty good. What are your favorite models for the moderate gamer?
