Woo Hoo and the news today is that Corsair have brought out their Vengeance branded High Performance memory to notebooks, with the release of three memory upgrade kits, 2x 8GB and 1x 4GB see here for more details and speeds
http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product-family/vengeance.html Now the ? is which ones do I get, as these are not yet available in the UK, I'll have to import them
😞 Actually ignore that comment, as Scan.co.uk are offering them to pre-order
🙂 ? now is do I go for the modules with a CAS of 10-10-10-27 or the standard modules with a Latency of 9-9-9-24 mmmmmm.
Not really sure that I would need the higher latency speeds though and the standard modules can run upto 1600mhz, where as the others will run upto 1866mhz. The other aspect of course is the cost, being christmas and all as well as the new ASUS Transformer Prime hitting the UK mid Jan, pre-orders already in
🙂 I hate being a tech geek, lol. Though I suppose if i go for the standard modules at 9-9-9-24 I suppose I could then opt for the 60GB OCZ SSD I've got my eyes on for my OS
