Anyone upgraded to Win10?

Should I?

Will I loose data or functionality or will it be a seamless upgrade?

Im asking because I never got a notification from ASUS that my laptop is ready for upgrading to Win10.

My friend's MSI notified him.

I'm a little apprehensive because I am from the school of thought that my g551 was optimized, by ASUS, for Win8.1 and will work best with 8.1. I am certain it will work with Win10 but I am apprehensive about finding bumps along the road if I did upgrade.

You might need to install a few new drivers from the asus page but the upgrade is easy and there are guides if you search this forum.

Just do it.

I have a G511 and have zero problems with windows 10.
ROG G551JW - i7 - 4720HQ - GTX 960 2GB - 16GB RAM
ROG G751 - i7- 4710HQ - GTX 970M 3GB - 16GB RAM

I downloaded it from Microsoft through the media application.

I really don't think I should specify that kind of action on this forum.

my fonts look thin after upgrading... maybe slightly blurry too
