Asus g751jy how to install samsung SM951?

Hi guys, i have a new ssd Samsung sm951 and i put in the m.2 port in my g751 but i dont know how to configure this drive .....can someone help me or give me a link to a guide please?

I installed same drive on my g751jy and no need any configuration just install windows on it! SIMPLE 🙂

Is there a difference in performance depending on the capacity (e.g 256 or 512GB)? I plan to buy Samsung sm951, but I did not matter much capacity, but speed. Is it true that Samsung is so much faster then Kingston HyperX Predator?

Thanks to all, but i have another question. ... how can i clone my entire old OS sdd to my new sm951 sdd? i dont want to do a clean os installation! I previusly done an image copy on a external hdd with the windows 10 tool.... what can i do now step by step? Thanks all

I highly recommend you clean install to the sm951 your potentially making problems for yourself.

That laptop is not support full speed sm951.

Dont spread false information the g751 supports the sm951 at full 3.0 x 4 speed multiple users have proven it. If you dont know something for certain it doesnt help when you make things up. Your comment might make someone waste money.

To be fair early reports on older BIOS versions showed only PCIe 2 speeds. His intel is just out of date / incomplete.

Now I just wish they would release a 1TB version so I can get myself a x-mass gift hehe.
