Realtek HD Audio Manager issue

Lemme start out a say this has been going on since I upgraded to the ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z mobo and Logitech Z506 5.1. My VLC, Windows, etc will not play voices only some background and bass if it is on Headphone selection for output but then anything played straight from comp like music or games will play everything but if I change it to Center/Subwoofer Speaker Output it is reversed? I have to keep changing whenever I switch what I'm doing...any solutions or opinions? maybe software needs an older version or is a windows 10 compatability issue? I haven't looked really that hard but i did give it a shot for a couple days when i was free but to no luck at all.
