Any idea if these keyboards are in compliance with the new USB specs for our MB? I'm thinking of buying one of these, but I don't want any problems with USB issues that I have had with older USB devices. Thanks.

Hey Hopper, ever since I saw your post, I've been thinking about buying the G.Skill keyboard and mouse you posted. Have you bought them, and if so, what do you think?

I'm looking for the cherry mx red switches, and the currently available keyboards at the egg only have the cherry mx browns. So I'm waiting for the red switches to come out before I buy it.

Yes, gamers prefer red, typists go with either blue or brown (brown if they are in an office setting and need the keys to be quieter than the blues).

Below is a video with a good overview of the G.Skill keyboard. The G.Skill keyboard supposedly combines the best parts of the Corsair K70 and the Razer Chroma, but its software seems to be lacking and its lighting effects appear not to be smooth.

I may still go for it if the Cherry MX Red switches come out soon (I do not want the Brown). I REALLY like those red, textured gaming key tops--but if the Red switches are going to take forever to be released, I will go with either the Chroma or the K95 (Red switches, of course).
