Hey eveyone, and thanks for reading my post.

My Laptop (asus g73jw-3de) was working just fine till the old ac adapter died out on me. upon ordering a new one from a recommended company asus told me about. they gave me the wrong one and it didn't do anything, so i took it as a loss. I later got a
g73sw and out of curiosity, plugged the battery and ac adapter into the g73jw. to my surprise, it actually cut on, but did not charge
the battery. IN FACT IT DIDN'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THE CHARGER AT ALL....

- but heres the strange part: It recognizes the battery and if i remove it (while plugged in to ac) it won't shut off, but it still wont recognize the ac adapter. plus the plug is alittle loose and wiggling it will cause it to go into sleep mode as if i pressed the power button.
