Hello i want to upgrade to 16gb ram on my mobo based on experience i had with this mobo i understand that its not compatible with some type of ram, can you please check this one, and if its not compatible can you recommend me some other 16gb dual channel rams so i can buy, thank you.

I forgot to post my cpu is the 2600k, any updates based on that?

I don't have experience with sandy bridge cpu's but they don't have quite as strong of an IMC as ivy bridge so 2400MHz may be pushing it.

To be safe you might want to go with 16GB 2133MHz.

sandybridge imc will only go up to 2133 (or slightly higher with fsb overclock), so no need for 2400.
I'm running 4x 4gb samsung hch9 at 2150 on a 2500k, with a 100.8mhz fsb

edit: can run these samsungs at c9-10-10-28, 1t, so it's just as fast as 2400-c12
