    ROG SWIFT PG278Q 144HZ vs Rog Swift PG279Q 165HZ

Hey there people! The title says it all! Thinking of upgradeing from a 1080 120HZ monitor now, and use it as secondary and get one of these two fine screens.

Are there any thoughs on it, and which is the better choice?

How is it crap? It seemse you have one product yourself in your signature?

The subject is about the coming screens really, but I think I will go with the 166HZ, if it beats the 144HZ model

I'd go with the PG279Q. Even J.J also said he would go with that when it comes out.

Even though I have PG278Q Swift, this is my 2nd (since the first one had a bad panel on the left handside of the screen).

I feel like I should be safe when its being used as a IPS panel since its been around for a long time on that resolution (1440p) and while the TN version of 1440p is new, I feel like there still qwerks since the panel is new after all on that resolution and the response time.

But of course I wouldn't be getting the PG279Q until Jan or Feb 2016 so at the least I can watch over the fourms and hope not many people have issues with it compared to the PG278Q.

My brother is betting high on a new ROG Swift PG27AQ 27" next week. I'm hoping for his sake it's not going to begin failing on him. I'll let you guys know how it goes. It will sure look great if they have improved the technical issues. Better ventilation systems on the back of the monitor would not hurt.

Is there a visible difference between 1ms (TN) vs 4ms (IPS)?

IPS Glow is the common problem on all IPS pannel. Make sure what you mean is IPS Bleed or IPS Glow, there's difference between those two...

Any recommendations on 2k gaming monitors ? I usually play LOL or some single-player action games. ROG Swift's pannel quality control really sucks. But I did like the red/black color build
