52587Hi

I just finish setup my rig using Z170 MAXIMUS viii HERO

All working perfect except for some light control apps that keeps me wondering
Using the ROG Asus LIGHT CONTROL to change the ROG Logo light effect (Im set to Static RED colour)

If i :

Restart pc : ROG lamp is keeping my static RED setting (OK)
Shutdown (AC power still on) : ROG lamp is keeping my static RED setting (OK)
Shutdown (Unplug & Power off main AC) : ROG lamp return to stock setting Breathing RED (I need to set to static red again)

Is this normal? or i miss something? i would like to keep my static red setting

Kindly guide me. Thanks

Has this been solved meanwhile? I'm wondering about the same thing. I have it on static white, but have disabled all lighting features in the BIOS because when Win 10 shuts down (hibernate via the OS fast boot option) it stayed on 24/7, and I only want it on when I boot up the system. However it doesn't, so I have to use the app and set the colour each time I've booted up, which seems unnecessary to me.
Asus Z370 Maximus X Hero | Intel Core i7-8700K 4.7GHz | Corsair H105 | G.Skill Trident Z 3333MHz CL16 16GB | Asus GTX 1080 Strix | EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2 | Crucial MX200 500 GB | 760T | Acer XB270HU 1440p | Windows 10 Pro x64

The Asus Lighting Control app doesn't work, not for me anyway. The app loads, but changing and applying the settings for color/light pattern doesn't do a damned thing. But hey, at least the application runs.. That's gotta count for something, right?
