So recently I've been hearing these weird crackling noises coming from my left speaker. I don't know if its really the fan or something else because it is around that area where the fan is usually blowing. Does anyone have an idea to what this might be? Is it bad? It doesn't happen for a log time. It just stops and then starts again for like a split second and then stops again.
My original G71 did that for about a week before the machine set it's self on fire. apparently something had gotten into the fan at one point. If i were you and had had a warranty to it i would take it in just to be safe. Call me paranoid but I've got really bad luck when it comes to moving parts in laptops.
Man that sounds awful, but I wanna see if there's another way around or if anyone else is having this problem. Right now, it completely stopped making the noise but I'm afraid it'll come back again. Really wish I just built my own custom pc Dx
