Upgraded my RAM and now struggling to keep OC.

Just awoke this morning to RealBench having run for four hours and having passed the stress test.

My core temps were at 77 degrees fot the hottest core under max and the cpu package was maxed at 83 degrees. This is with the following settings:

64 GB RAM @ 2.800Mhz running at rated timings of 15, 16, 16, 35, 2T
4.455 Ghz CPU Core
3.436 Ghz CPU Cache
1.34v Core
35x multi
101.8 Bclk


My isssue is still present however when SLI is enabled. Turn it off and it finishes the test every time, turn it on and it fails when finishing every time!

Does it still do so with Blk at 100.0? Wondering about DMI + OC with heavy I/O load (well populated and current sucking PCIe). 1.8% isn't much, but...

I ran a bunch of 4.8GHz + stuff in 2.43 with 2 OC'd GTX980's in SLI. 1400MHz sort of OC'd on the GPUs. No issue with crashing.

You still SLIing 4 gpus ? have you tried just 2 and then 3....?

Would you mind sharing your bios settings? Im interested to get the same ram as you are using.

Or do you have any suggestions on other brands?

Not sure why I typed 101.8 as the Bclk. What I'm using is 127.3 as the clock and the multi is x35. Will post my BIOS screenies later ,trying to figure out this SLI/Realbench issue atm

As promised I ran the two tests so I've now tried in 2 3 and 4 way SLI and I reproduce the same result every time. Driver crash upon closing of the Realbench test. Never happens with SLI disabled, I have tried each card individually and looped Firestrike on each one for over an hour without any issues.

As for trying the 100 Bclk I did try that with both 45 and 46 multipliers but it refused to stay stable at all. I'm happy with the OC I have now even if it's not ideal. The only thing j would honestly change about it would be to lower my voltages from 1.35v core and cache (my cache doesnt like it if i dont sync thr voltage with the core for some reson) and push the chip to 4.5Ghz from 4.45 but I'm not going to complain about that.

I just remembered. With my old GTX690 (Sli 680), realbench used to crash upon completion. I never made much of a case out of it since all hashes passed. Never had problems with my overclock.

Well even 125 vs 127.3 should answer the question I am asking and it is wild speculation on my part that such a small difference would even matter. Just surprised to see you having an issue with 2xSLI, I've had no such issues at 125 strap with GTX980's, but I don't have another Ti to SLI nor a Titan.

Ok guys so I've taken pictures of my now stable overclock settings but I'm just curious what is the best way to upload them to this thread quickly whilst still keeping them good enough size/quality to read?
