Hey, Guys!

Hope this hasn't been brought up too many times already. If so, I'm sorry.

I need to upgrade my RAM, I've tried finding out the specs of what's in my pc. DDR3L 1600MHz is all I've managed to find out.

When I started looking through pricerunner I realized just how little i know about todays machines, last time I upgraded a PC was over a decade ago. Didn't even have PCI Express back then.

Please help, I need to know what to buy: Pins? Voltage?
A friend offered me this: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SO-DIMM 204-pin from Kingston, would it fit and more important, would it work?

I don't want to screw anything up, so any tips you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Hey wanted to create the same topic.

I have a Rog G20AJ it already has 2x 8GB SODIMM but the clock is 800MHZ.

I wanna know if I upgrade it to 1600 MHZ would it make any difference?

And what are the exact specs I should look for if I want the 1600 MHZ rams work on my rig?
