HyperX Savage DDR4 2666 MHz and MAXIMUS VIII HERO compatibility

    Hello,

Can I run 4xHyperX Savage 4GB 2666MHz on my MAXIMUS VIII HERO motherboard? If not, what would be a good option?

Yes, you can. Check ASUS memory QVL for other options.

HyperX part number HX426C13SB2K4/16 is the same as Kingston part number HX426C13SB2K4/16(XMP) on the ASUS QVL for this memory.

Just add sticky thermal pad, heat shield, and rename it.
