You got it bud, you can use a cpu voltage offset in adaptive mode, try setting it to 0.070v and see if it keeps you close to 1.30v.
Thanks for the reply! I actually gave that a shot (set offset to -0.07) and it dropped me down to about 1.29, which I found odd.

I went with -0.04 and I was able to get to 1.31. However, stress testing with realbench caused a crash immediately. Is that because stress testing on adaptive voltage isn't recommended?

It could mean you need a little more cpu core voltage, try bumping up the cpu core voltage in increments of .01v until you pass the test.

Your next test will be at 1.31v then 1.32v, 1.33v etc...

Since it was drawing up to 1.37v you may need more, let's hope you don't need that much though.

    For 4.80GHz I need 1.504v

But what's weird is I was able to pass an hour at RealBench on 4.5GhZ @ 1.31v on manual.

I'll try playing around with adaptive to see if I can get something stable, but is there any harm in leaving the voltage setting at manual if the voltage is at 1.31v?

No it's safe, in fact the max safe voltage is 1.52v stated from the intel spec sheet.

After looking at your ram I see you have 64GB of 3200MHz which could be part of it too.

With the ram you have try :

    CPU VCCIO voltage 1.25v - 1.30v
    CPU System Agent voltage 1.25v - 1.30v
Dram voltage to 1.40v if those two don't help.

You could always reset to defaults if it doesn't pass and do your cpu overclock with the ram at 2133MHz.

Hi. I'm new to overclocking so I could do with some help.

I followed the guide using 46 as the ratio. I kept passing realbench stress tests (15mins) until I failed at 1.23V. I moved back to 1.24V and I ran 10 benchmarks (max temp 59°C) and an 8 hour stress test (max temp 60°C), which also passed. This seems way too low (too good to be true) for 4.6GHz? Have I done something wrong? I enabled XMP for my RAM.

On the contrary, you have a very good CPU. I'm curious to see how far you can go.

Thanks for the replies Detleg, Chino and Nate152!

I ran OCCT for 9+ hours while I slept and it passed too. I changed to adaptive 1.25V and everything is running smoothly. I'll try going further when I'm less busy. I have fallen behind with my emails because I was running stress tests. lol
