I was able to do this as well, however using HWMonitor in looking at the VID it goes to 1.45, even though the CPU Vcore does not go above 1.25. So does this mean that the Voltage is actually at 1.45 since the VID reports that or is it really not getting anything more than 1.25. The temps are higher even though I set a lower Vcore voltage of 1.25.
Under default settings voltage on auto the VID never goes above 1.38. It's just confusing to me why the vcore voltage would be stuck at 1.25 yet the VID goes so high. Any explanation that can be provided regarding the VID would be great.

VID is the voltage requested by the CPU but not necessarily the voltage that it receives.

The stock VID varies from CPU to CPU. Also when overclocking, Vcore is what's most important.

I'm at 4.8ghz with just using the AI Suite 3/5 Way Optimization.

I have assembled PC last day with 6700k and Hero VIII. My first attempt of overclocking the 6700k to 4.6GHz with 1.3V was a success and what is more good thing is that EK Predator 360 kept the temps at 60. Today I'll see if it goes above that frequency. I would like to share the pics of motherboard and sexy tridentz if it is ok with you guys?

My CPU has overclocked to 4.7GHz with VCore 1.3. Now, fine tuning of voltage is next step. Real Bench was a success. AIDA64 was a success. Prime 95 was a success. EK Predator 360 kept the temps really well. Max it hit was 53C. Config is: -
Asus MAximus VIII Hero
i7 6700k @ 4.7GHz
G.Skill TridentZ 16 gigs @ 3200MHz [XMP Loaded]
EK Predator 360
