Got my BCLK up to 105. cpu 4.62ghz , ram 3599mhz, cache 4200, and Im getting MUCH better temps than before. Lowest Ive seen is 15C idle and on my last benchmark temps didn't go higher than 60c! I was really amazed. Cores were reaching 72C back when I had the voltage at 1.42. Perhaps I have more headroom for OC than I thought?
Looks good. I don't have any success with BCKL adjustments. What speed is your memory rated at and also what timings? Any chance you could upload the BIOS somewhere?

So I used the AI suite for the first time, and 5 way optimization. it reached 4.9 on 2 cores, but when it tried all 4 it blue screen not happy faced. went back to 4.8 on reboot. ran a bunch of benchmarks after. CPU temp is up in the 60's at this temp, might just drop it back down to 4.5ghz. I cant really see and noticeable gains in performance ~5%, besides just saying "Hey look at what i did". what does everyone else think?

    Hi Chino.

I am using the 6600k and set the core ratio to 45, and set my cpu core/cache voltage to 1.200.

In cpu-z it says Core VID 1.272 but it goes up and down a little.

My question is how come its like that in cpu-z? And my voltage seems almost to low, is it right or is everything ok?

The 6600K doesn't have Hyperthreading so it's normal that it requires less voltage for a certain overclock. But then again you might have a good CPU assuming you're stable at 4.5GHz with 1.273V.

Has anyone figured out the max safe voltage for the 6700k ? i'm very close to stable at 4.9ghz 1.424v ~80c, passes Prime95 blend but crashes on Realbench/IBT (uses more RAM), how much more voltage can i safely pump into it ?

Yes, that's what the specs say.

1.42 @80c is obviously more risky than lower settings. Depends what loads you are putting on your rig. Are you video editing? A photographer? A gamer? And Warmer weather is coming..

I could have got 4.8 but opted for 4.7 just to be in the 70c range.

Does anyone know which stress tests out there include AVX instruction set commands to more effectively stress Skylake CPUs?

I'm using a 6700K CPU with an Asus M8H and have tried both Intel Burn Test 2.54 and Prime 95 28.7. I know Prime 95 28.7 uses AVX, but have found its blend test isn't actually as stressful as the "maximum" memory usage test with IBT 2.54. Does IBT 2.54 also use AVX?

There also seems to be a LinX 0.65 package that uses apparently AVX, but it's actually much older than IBT 2.54 so I'm pretty confused.

    Any ideas?

Running 4.8ghz cpu 4.6ghz cache 1.38v ~75c as 24/7, was just trying to find my max OC, does 4.9ghz cpu 4.7ghz cache at 1.44v ~85c so its all good if i have to kick it up a notch for any reason, not bad at all for a Noctua NH-D15
