CPU dead? - Random BIOS Q-Code Error...
Ooooh, my rig doesnt start anymore
... It began with some freezes and restarts in Windows a couple of days ago (actually when I plugged in a new keyboard), and during reboot ocasional BIOS problems appeared. Then, with every reboot it seemed to get worse so that finally now, there is not even any GPU output and the BIOS halts on random error messages (preferably its one of the following: B6 "cleanup of NVRAM"; D7 "no console output devices are found" - but I have seen a lot of different codes)
Well, I ordered a new board and PSU and the same problem persists - it is continuously stuck in BIOS POST.
Of course I tried a minimum configuration (only 1 RAM module, no IDE drives (just M.2), disabled the PCIe slots via the jumpers to try only one GPU at a time).
So can we say the CPU has died? Or is there anything I am missing? Can a defective CPU cause the system to halt with all kind of different error codes?

My experience with dead CPU's is bios code 00, I don't know what your problem is caused by but try without the M.2 drive to eliminate that as the issue if you have not already

It was the CPU! With a new CPU I havent had any problems. So, I believe, a defective CPU can cause the BIOS to halt at random states.
