    Thanks for your replies.

It's been a little while since I last played with the insides of pcs so please could I ask you to explain please :

I quote "Remember using a SATA HDD as a permanently connected storage has some disadvantages about which I`m sure you already have heard or read."

Please could I ask you to explain ?, I think I am going to resort to just having the SSD inside the machine which is a shame but if I read correctly you say having the two devices running inside the machine is a no go ?

    Thank you for your help.

...all that and I said its my personal opinion that using a SATA Disk will have the disadvantage of heating a lot during high loading processes and slowing after some time let a lone using a Hybrid Storage system. On my Lenovo Y5070 Laptop and also my G20 I use a coherent single SSD drive works as fast as you can imagine.

Had a hybrid system, wasnt much happy with its performance, also this G20 came as stock with 32G SSD and 3T sata again wasnt satisfying until I made the change I told you about.

This is a gaming PC we are talking about my friend, dont bore it with side works and sutff, dont install anything on it but games thats what I`m doing in the past 3 months, works with rocket speed.

I installed a Samsung Pro 256gb SSD to go with the 1tb of storage thats already in there, im looking to update the 1tb maybe to a 3tb or 4tb in future but for now this will do.My G20 starts up very quickly so it was well worth it.

I also installed a GTX 750 instead of the GTX 745 4gb, not realising the 745 was 4gb till i took it out If anyone could tell me would i be better with the gtx750 or the stock 745 4gb? cheers
