Hey guys, 32g will "NOT" work in the G74Sx (per Asus).
    see specs on this link.

They KNOW the specs, dude. Overclockers go beyond the specs, hence the "over".

I bought my G74SX for JUST CAUSE 2 game and for trading tech software that uses up a LOT of RAM
before I had HP DV7 2043CL and it was sooo old, like 3-4 years old laptop

That's right... Who ya gonna believe? Some crazy radio astronomer that actually did it... or some guy that wrote about how it can't be done on the internet?

The Max Memory Size specs on ark.intel are per channel I think (see also discussion ayt http://forum.notebookreview.com/hard...hows-work.html). So, dual channel memory will ultimately address2x the max memory spec.

You might want to take a look at this thread: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...e-for-my-G74SX

..and I think it won't hurt if you pay more attention to fostert's opinions.
