Hi, so I have a beacon and can finally sort of fit my G752VY in after several attemps. First of, the sleeve comes with the bag is too but the dedicated section for the loptop is covered in soft furry materials so I suppose it's okay to ignore the sleeve. The trick is that the the sealing zip line starts from the mid-uper part of the bag on one side and goes a lot lower on the other. You will have to get the vents side of your laptop on the lower side or it won't close. Also make sure the zip line runs through the curving back part of the back vents. I would recommend keeping the little rubber seals comes with the laptop on the vents as they can provide some extra separation so that the zip line does not scracth you vent bars.

However, overall it is indeed a tight fit. The G752 is just too wide.

Thank you , its a little bit out of my budget but there is no choice I guess.

I think in Nomad could fit 17" + TKL keyboard + mouse.
For ASUS laptop best ASUS backpack... You can check Shuttle and Shuttle II....
Once I saw one nice ASUS backpack but I don't know name...
maybe is Targus Limited Edition, that was one of nicest I saw...
But now I would search for Shuttle or Shuttle II, they are for 17" laptop and it's logic that ASUS made them for their laptops...
G752 + Deck Francium Pro and ROG Gladius ... PERFECT.

    ASUS Shuttle II Is huge

In Nomad fit 17", keyboard, mouse, cell phone, camera, headphones, externall HDD, and who knows what else...

The Asus shuttle and nomad specifically states it will not fit the current G752 and none of the Ogios linked before will either.
The dimension that is killing it is from front to rear.
Everki Titan or beacon for a back pack will fit or if all you want is a messenger bag the Advance will fit it for less than half the cost.
Key here is to search for 18+

Well the Titan Evrki has laptop compartment width of 33 cm and so does the g752 ( maybe few mm more ). So can someone say if the Titan is too tight fit on the width dimension ?

absolutely positively... this pack... it is a perfect fit (naked G75, no room for a sleeve). the compartment is well padded so you dont need an additional sleeve anyways.

ive been using it for about two years. and i travel for a living. i lugged my G75 around in it regularly. checkpoint friendly. it has more pockets and storage than you'll know what to do with.
in coach class it is a little tight if you want to put it under the seat in front of you. economy plus under-seat, first class, crew, and overheads it is no problem at all.

i love the quality of this bag. its built well, strong, and with attention to detail. i cannot recommend this bag enough. which i discovered through this forum. yes it sucks to dough out $150 for a bag but you wont regret it. you will get what you pay for.

lastly, i used another bag for the G75 that was not a backpack, it also fit in there perfectly but this carrying case doesnt allow as much room or protection, is more difficult to carry, but has a more professional appearance.. i used it when we weren't permitted to carry backpacks with our crew luggage (last link).

I am curious... I have a G74S laptop now that is getting long in the tooth...

I am considering getting the latest new laptop with the better graphics card.

One question I have though is about backpacks... My G74S came with its own bag which it fits into barely.

I am a college student right now and need to be able to bring my laptop to school. I have a very nice Swiss "quickscan" model backpack
that says it will carry "up to 17" " laptops. I am curious if anyone with the newer 752 laptops have tried these bags and if they fit or not.

I currently have a very cheap dell 15" that almost swims in this case but my G74S doesn't even come close to fitting.

My Dell lasts like 10 hours on a fully charged battery and is great for school other than the fact the 1.6ghz 2 core celeron CPU is slow
as heck... The 17.3" screen sure is nice to use at school compared to the 15" screen as well.

I guess I COULD get the 15" ROG laptop but I am giving up a lot of realestate to get a machine that will fit into my bag.

    Rodney
