    No code from the motherboard LED readout means one of two things either a faulty psu or faulty motherboard. Make sure the 24 pin main power cable is fully seated and secured into place. Seeing how you tried another psu and the same psu in another system and works it looks like you have a faulty motherboard.

    Contact Asus tech support/RMA department ASAP and let us know if a replacement motherboard gets you going.

    Tigerdirect ebay told me I can either refund my motherboard (stopped working within 30 days) or go for the asus warranty. I'm not too keen about warranty. Apparently I cannot exchange, though I thought I can it says here: http://stores.ebay.ca/TigerDirect/Store-Policies.html

    I'm probably going to go with refund, you think its worth waiting for black friday sales or should I go with asus's warranty? I heard terrible things about their warranty.

    Thanks for the opinion.

    By the way, how likely could the CPU be at fault?
