Hello,

New to the forum but have done tons of reading.

I have a G20AJ and want to upgrade the gpu. I was looking at the EVGA GTX 960 FTW ACX 2.0 card.

I want to make sure it will fit before buying. I am already aware of the psu situation and have that covered.

Please let me know if this card will work!

Thank you

Never mind...

My buddy just gave me his GTX750Ti FTW card.

Going to install it this weekend and see how much better things will be over my current GTX745 card.

I also have a 230w psu ordered in on its way for this and future upgrades

Only go with Reference models.

GTX980Ti reference is the best and last model you can upgrade to.

Got the GTX 750Ti FTW in, 230w psu going and everything runs great. Even though the 750Ti is not a reference card I have zero issues with heat in the tower.

Where did y'all order the 180watt power supply from?

That comes with G20

Some come with only the 230 watt power supply!

I had to order the 230w since mine only came with the 180w. I ordered mine from Amazon.

The ACX cooled video cards exhausts their hot air straight into the computer case rather than out the back, outside the case, like the Reference cooled cards do. If you have a very small form-factor case like the Asus G20AJ has, with its limited airflow, then its best to get a Reference card, and preferably the non-overclocked model, since they require more power, which is limited w/the G20AJ.
