    G51Jx, 3D, and 3DE Overview

The G51Jx-A1, G51Jx-3D, and G51Jx-3DE all have the same specs. It is a 15.4inch Gaming powerhouse. It has more than enough power to run many of the games on the market today and can be used as a desktop replacement but still small enough to be portable. The major upgrade on this unit when compared to the G51J is the replacement of the GTX260m with the GTS360m GPU. In the US, we received a i7 720 processor which features a quad core 1.6GHZ CPU with turbo boost. Turbo boost allows the CPU to close multi cores and overclocker a single core up to 2.8GHZ when necessary. Because not all applications are designed to take advantage of multi core processors, the new I7 has the ability to switch back and forth to whichever has the best performance.
