    question about booting?

I have a gigabyte g1 sniper 5 that i am going to replace soon but was wanting to know if it would boot from an intel 750 ssd? I can't find the book and downloading the manual isn't any help because it's mostly in chinese. i know it has pci-e 3.0 x4, but the whole nvme thing i'm not too familiar with. it's a z87 chipset and it seems like somewhere I read to be able to boot from pci-e it had to be z97 chipset....but i can't remember. thanks.

    Hello Who_Farted

snif.... snif snif..... I don't smell anything.

z87 is the maximus vi series boards and they do not support NVMe. The z97 boards support NVMe and can boot with the Intel 750 ssd.
