I was curious myself on why the backpack and mouse isn't available on the G53SX series, either.
I'd be nice as an option, though. It is hard to find a backpack that properly fits this type of laptop due to the odd dimensions.Router(Nokia IP390,4GB RAM,4x GigE SFP Ports,4x 10/100/1000mbps Ports,OpenBSD 5.5)

I think ASUS bundled their G74s or G73s with CHEAPER accessories. The backpack I got with my G74 is the same like yours.
Logic tells me my bundled G74 would have been a little more pricey if it came with more expensive accessories..
For pricing, check this: http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?..._detail&p=4366
and compare it with this: http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?...t_detail&p=894
EDIT: This ASUS ROG G73 Backpack that came with my G74 is not bad, IMO. The laptop fits snugly well in
its compartment. In fact, I could even slide my other 14" laptop and those "bricks" in the other compartments.Last edited by PILGRIM; 12-24-2011 at 04:43 AM.
