Has anyone tried this Ram in their laptop? I see it on Xotic PC when you customize the G751JY?

Yes it works but i highly suggest gskill 2133 in the g751jy its faster and runs flawlessly. Just remember when changing speed to change all slots.

Is it safe to put that in? The ram preinstalled was 1600 and this is 2133. I don't know if the motherboard can take that speed

Please take a second to search yes its safe yes its been done by tons of users here almost as far back as a year ago. I ave personally installed 32gb gskill 2133 on over 30 g751s.

I tried searching, but failed to find anything relevant. Maybe my keywords were "incorrect". Could you point me a guide on how to change the pre-installed memory and can you tell me does changing it void warranty? I have read some vague descriptions of it being under the keyboard, which would indicate that the one needs to disassemble something before it can be swapped...

Yes you could void your warranty changing the internal ram modules, Insure you are positive you can dissemble and reassemble your notebook before attempting carelessness can damage cables connections etc.

Its very easy and i cant imagine anyone with common sense having a hard time with it.
