    MAXIMUS VIII RANGER DRAM Frequency

    Hi all,

After a little expert guidance.... have just updated my MB to 1202 BIOS, and for the first time have been able to successfully boot running the XMP profile for my RAM, which is: 4x4gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz Red 1.35V at 16-18-18-36

So everything looks fine in BIOS, DRAM Frequency at 3200, but when I boot and run CPU-Z, frequency is at 2133?

I was previously running it set manually at 2933 and that was picked up in CPU-Z.

Any ideas, or should I just set everything individually?

    Cheers,

    pk

That's weird. And you're sure you saved changes in the BIOS after activating the XMP for your memory kit?
