    It's normal for them to be on during boot. If a problem arises, the corresponding LED will remain lit. In your case, your system is working fine since you're able to make it into your OS.

    how come sometimes it wont get into windows? it will just hang at 79 and sit there. after a few restarts it gets into windows. thanks for the response.

    Possible fix to your issues.

    I had the same USB Issue that you did, and i fixed that by installing the Asmedia USB drivers from this site: http://www.station-drivers.com/index...id=169&lang=en.

    Asus wants me to RMA my board. they said its the bios chips

    I was going to RMA mines too, but changed my mind when i saw that lots of people were having the same issue. I figure i just wait for new BIOS update. If you RMA yours let me know if it works.

    yeah i dont want to RMA my board. especially after hearing the horror stories on how people get back damaged boards and get random charges to the credit card. I flashed the latest bios and its still the same issue, same code hang ups. Nothing changed. If i dont get it resolved soon, ill buy some pre programmed chips of ebay and give that a shot. If that dont work I'm just gonna call it a loss and buy a new board from a different manufacturer.

    Just deinstalling my Ai Suite and my Asmedia USB Controller is active for two Days in the row.

    I restartet once an got an Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error with teh Message:

    Programm: ... ASUS\Ai Suite III\DIP4\DIPAwayMode\DIPDLL\UsbPowerManager.dll

    And at this moment my Asmedia USB Controller was active. So i decided to Deinstall the AiSuite with the Dual Intelegent Processor5 thing.

    For now it works

    Edit: 01.08.19

    Now the As Media Cointroller is gone again. There must be something else
