    With 1801, AIDA64 reports memory read 74988 MB/s, write 67759, copy 72996, with latency 56.3 ns.
With 1902, memory read is 73540 MB/s, write 66482, copy 71032, and latency 59 ns.

So, definitely slower memory access under 1902 with the same settings as 1801. I didn't try to tighten up my timings which might be possible considering the slower access.

Just for grins I compared realbench 2.43 results. As expected, not a huge difference:

    With 1801, editing 205970, encoding 299402, opencl 109875, multitasking 247784, with a total score of 193782.
    With 1902, editing 202571, encoding 303231, opencl 109875, multitasking 243532, with a total score of 192827.

idk why you would go through so much effort over that small of a difference and also wondering why your using aida64 to bench when there is so many better more thorough options out there. But with that being said the reason for your performance drop is well documented with the implementation of the spectre and meltdown patch to the bios. They have a small effect on the overall performance of your machine and im willing to bet money they are the reason for the decrease in bench score.

ahhh **** im that guy... That guy who responded to a 3 year old damn post as my first contribution to the forum kill me now lol

So, is this the 1902 BIOS for R5E10, or the R5E?

Also, the microcode listed you have entered as having a date of sometime in 2015? So that would not make it the latest microcode as per The Win-Raid forum?
