What RAM did you use for your G20AJ upgrade ?

Hey there !

Since I keep on getting an annoying "Overclocking failed" error on boot I am considering to change my Corsair RAM with another RAM type / model.

So if you swapped your memory in your G20AJ and can confirm it working flawlessly, what model / type exactly do you use ?

I´d prefer something with multiple confirmations....

Thanks !

Hey paul.

My G20 came with 16G DDR3 1600 MHZ as stock and never faced any issues.

Thanks but when you did not swap memory your information is useless for me unless you would sell your RAM to me.

What do you need exactly? do you want me to get the model or take a picture from them?

They are DIMM rams.

the asus rog g20aj take SO-DIMM ram which is laptop memory, and mine was the same as I had 12gigs of 1600mhz. but getting ram as long as their are SO-DIMM then your good to go. just check that your CPU can support the high speed of the memory

you can put in 16gigs model ram also as long as their are SO-DIMM version, and also your CPU can support it then go for it 🙂

@Welsh Whoopee:
Well, that´s not true. The CMSX16GX3M2B1600C9 should perfectly meet the specs but it produces that "Overclocking" error on boot.

But the Ballistix RAM works fine, I´ve replaced the Corsair with it and - perfect !
