I am guessing, you are going to bood from the M.2-Drive, have the 850 for games and the HDD for scientific reasons?
Make sure to update the SSD firmwares with the Samsung Magician.
The've performed some tricks and tweaks.
I have the HDD set to spin down after 30 minutes, as I am barely using it any more.
    Welcome
    P.S.
Oh, I guess I just got your post right after replying - so, no HDD

Yep, no HDD (I removed and sold the one that came with it nearly day 1), will boot from M.2 and have all regular apps there. Games/One Drive will be distributed between the other two 1TB Samsung 850 Evos.
    Asus G20CB - Core i7 6700, Nvidia GTX980, 16GB Ram, 256GB SK Hynix SSD, 1TB Samsung SSD.

is the 250gb limit still in place? i never heard of a port having a size limit on a drive? i am assuming it would be an easy bios update to fix that issue? sorry if i am talking on a old thread, but i am considering buying a g20cb with a 6700. but i want to make sure i can stick a 500gb or 1tb nvme drive in it.

250GB limit is in place with no plans to update BIOS as the CB is considered EOL.

I have the 250gb Evo 970 nvme as boot/OS/Scratch, 1TB Evo 960 SSD games/programs, 1TB stock HDD as extra storage.
