GL552VW - How to create restore disks?

Greetings,

I just purchased this laptop and cannot figure out how to create my restore disks. My previous ASUS laptop prompted you to create them when you first booted the machine.

I'm aware there's a restore partition, but I would like to burn disks, or at least create ISOs for the disks that I can back up. Later, if the HDD dies, or I decide to replace it, or I install Windows "Whatever the next version is" and need to roll it back to factory default, etc, I'd like to be able to do so.

Thanks!

Best bet is get Macrium Reflect Free and create an image of your hard drive on a ext drive or larger USB Thumb drive.
I think Asus solution is BackTracker and it requires a 32GB USB Thumb drive.

Also, don't forget that it almost never works even if you have a USB disk.
