So i'm new to all this but i've been doing some research and I think replacing my GeForce GTX 760 with an EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW+ will be sufficient but a lot of people are telling me to just get the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW and im not sure if this is just the elitist attitude PC gamers or if it's a legitimate suggestion. its about a 100 dollar difference.
your opinions would be appreciated!
Personally I would go with this gtx 970
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-geforce-gtx-970-turbo-oc-4096mb-gddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-...its the reference mode, I always try and people to go for the blower type design. due to way that gpu 2.0 works and based on the temp on the card, it will push as much power into the card till it hits that max temperature you set. but get yourself a open-design graphics card and that temperature is only gonna be push around your case which could affect your cpu and cause that to overheat. the card above is a good price and good fps and
able to run all the top title like witcher 3 and gta 5.
I have a few videos on my channel for upgrades of GPU and CPU
