Gl552VW questions about compatible M.2 SSDs

I want to buy this laptop this week, but I was wondering which M.2 SSD’s are compatible with it?
I heard on a Dutch forum that NVMe SSD’s isn’t supported by this laptop, but AHCI is.
And does It have PCI-e 3.0 x4?

This model:

I was also wondering which M.2 connector fits in?

Are there people who have many problems with this laptop? (Is it stable?)
I would buy this model or another? (perhaps there is a better model, wich I have not seen yet)

I had a problem with G552VW. It appears to be that NVME m.2 is not supported, tough the retailer told me that it should work. The laptop is returned and I chose the G552VW with pre-installed SSD. In my case the motherboard supported only M.2 SATA.

I did a online chat with Asus service.
They told me that M.2 PCI-e 3.0 X4 is compatible and AHCI and NVMe are both compatible (Say's the documentation of the laptop)
Also you need to buy a SSD which is NGFF 2280 (the left one on my picture)

But I'm still wondering what is really compatible and working.
And what type of connector is needed? I suspect the right one?

Perhaps you can check which SSD is in your laptop?

Which RAM sticks did you purchase for your GL75VW to upgrade? Could you also post links to the SSD you installed in the extra slot? Was the drive just plug in play or do you need extra steps to get the computer to read the drive?

First of all, they also told me that NVME is compatible but that is not true.
Read other discussions in forum.

Purchased GL752VW removed HDD installed a regular 2.5" SSD in its place and installed m.2 SSD in the open slot and everything works fine. zero drama.

Thanks for posting the link to the SSD. Was the install a quick plug and play for the SSD in the open slot? I'm also currently trying to find an 8gb RAM stick that is compatible with the already installed 8gb stick as the only GL752vw available to me at the shop was the 8gb model.

zero drama because it's SATA. Try to put NVME inside...
