Probably because you have only 2 posts (new account). You need to make more posts, then you'll be able to vote

I'm sure a preventive safe repaste for the CPU and GPU chips while reassembling the laptop would cure any potential problem.
I'll highlight this issue, but can everyone please post your idle and load temps so we can see if this is a common problem after the G-SYNC upgrade is done.

    Running temps

    According to Speccy:
    Idle temps-
    CPU: 40deg
    MB: 42deg
    GPU: 38deg
    Main drive SM951 512gb: 28deg
Storage drive 2tb Sam Pro (sata3 mod): 27deg

Load temps (using 'intelburn test' on standard for 10 min run)
    CPU: 88-92deg
    MB: 87-91deg
    GPU: 42deg
    Drive temps unaffected

Max load temps (using Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 Basic)
    GPU: 85deg
    MB: 87deg
    GPU: 81deg
    Drive temps unaffected
    (and if it's of use)
    FPS: 59.4
    Score: 1497
    Min FPS: 25
    Max FPS: 141.7
    Settings-
    Render: Direct3D11
    Mode: 1600x900 8xAA windowed
    Preset: Extreme

On a side note Speccy shows CPU named as a 4710HQ, but specified as a 4870HQ? Anyone shed light on that for me? Ta.

I agree that often its the third party support services that mess everything up. All that can be done is try vendors and if they get too many complaints to use another. Doing it all in house would mean shipping everything back to Taiwan and causing highly inflated shipping costs as well as even longer wait times.
If you have a particular vendor that is causing issues and providing inferior service please use their website to report it. If they dont know they cant do anything about it.

You can use the contact us and call or simply choose the email us and it will give you two options. Technical inquiry or complaint.

Justin is completely correct, we need you guys to please report any issues with the 3rd party repair services, this is the only way for us to know about the issues and find a way to address them.

but not me, in germany no piece of response in case of upgrade! the support team say its submitted all my dates but i became no response!
the whole course of the projekt gsync upgrade is bull**** in my eyes.
i've waited two weeks to get my Invoice for the Upgrade, then they picked it up to LetMeRepair. These guys had no knowledge about the G-Sync,
upgrade. so they tested my book, and send it back. No error found, g-sync upgrade not possible. Now i'm waiting to get it picked up again.
This time it goes to ASUS Netherland.... since over a week

    Hi,

    Before the Gsync Upgrade
Idle Temps were sort of 38 to 46C
    Gaming/WItcher 3 68 to 78

    After Gsync Upgrade
Idle Temps are 55 to 78 mainly inbetween about 63 (nothing is running at all)
    Gaming witcher 3 88 to 98C
Gaming with Blue Rider (very small game) hits 92c

but on a side note witcher 3 plays really good with GSYNC i dont see any screen tearing it was really bad before so it is definitely something to get if you can.

I just hope they don't return the laptop back to me without the GSYNC like one of the other posters on this thread.

    YM

PS GPU and HD temps are all fine. only CPU.
