Ditto @Wardaddy I agree ASUS is a great company w/ awesome ROG G Series notebooks'.
In the end, all these G751JY G-SYNC upgrade issues such as @slav82's will be corrected.
It might have been easier for ASUS to have set aside some of the new G751JY WH71(WX)
mainboards currently in production for this G751JY G-SYNC upgrade. They are identical
motherboards to the majority of G751JY's being sent in for G-SYNC upgrades.

or i7-4720HQ CPU's & simply forget this Intel Core i7-4750HQ CPU.
G-SYNC is a great feature to have but not if it comes w/ CPU downgrade &/or even worse,
    a GPU downgrade.
@slav82 received a major G751JY G-SYNC downgrade. If your lucky @slav82 you might
get hooked up w/ a new ASUS ROG G752VY notebook exchange! That would be acceptable.
@slav82 I'm sure @Bahz will correct your G751JY G-SYNC downgrade. You should PM Bahz
with your ASUS RMA Case #, RMA#, Notebook Serial #, your full name, address, phone number
    & your email.
Msg to Bahz sent. I wouldn't say no to G752YV offer. Even with small extra price from my side.
It would be best commercial form them as Gamers Brand. And very good compensation for all my trouble and helplessness.
Its my first gaming laptop from ASUS. I was with competition until my msi gt 729 just went away for good after 2 RMA's.
Will see how this one ends.

One i can say , they know how to give goosebumps their customers

I'm informed that the process is already underway and with this change we expect to cut down the lead time significantly.
Some of us have as original spec. the i7-4860HQ or i7-4710HQ...

But what Asus Poland has delivered for slav82 is JUST a common theft!

Major downgrade from i7-4860HQ to i7-4710HQ
    2nd major downgrade from GTX980M to GTX970M

This is a downgrade from G751JY to G751JT actually...

Now the question: What Asus is doing with the old MBs? Multiplying some 'happy dudes' working for Asus serivces?

And this would pass unnoticed by some typical users , they probably would checked G-SYNC option and be happy with upgrade.

As I've stated numerous times here in past posts, it would be much easier for ASUS to allocate
some of these new ASUS ROG G751JY WH71(WX) mainboards currently in production at
ASUS Main Factory in Taiwan (ROC) for this G751JY G-SYNC upgrade. The only difference
from the majority of G751JYs' being sent in for G-SYNC upgrade and this new G751JY WH71(WX)
mainboard is an Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU (2.6GHz ~ 3.6GHz) plus it already has G-SYNC feature.
ALL other mainboard hardware is exact, ie. Nvidia GTX 980M 4GB GPU, 1x PCIe AHCI M.2 SSD Adapter,
    4-USB 3.0 ports, 1x HDMI, 1x Thunderbolt 20Gb/s, etc. . So everyone sending in their G751JYs' w/ either
the Intel Core i7-4710HQ or the Intel Core i7-4860HQ CPUs' would be completely satisfied w/ the
    G-SYNC upgrade. I'd even pay 3x's the current $99 US G751JY G-SYNC upgrade invoice for a swap
    to the new G751JY WH71(WX) w/ G-SYNC mainboard gladly!
How easy would it be for ASUS to allocate some of these new G751JY WH71(WX) mainboards for this
current G751JY G-SYNC upgrade process? My guess is it's probably not so easy to reallocate
100-150 G751JY WH71(WX) mainboards currently in production at ASUS Main Factory,
Taiwan (ROC) for our G751JY G-SYNC upgrades but it would certainly be the best way for ASUS
to resolve these G-SYNC upgrade issues, even if ASUS has to charge more to do it.
I'd happily pay $300 US to receive a new G751JY WH71(WX) mainboard replacement for my
    G-751JY DH71 G-SYNC upgrade process.
I know if I have to go w/ an Intel Core i7-4750HQ CPU vs. my current Intel Core i7-4710HQ CPU
to receive G751JY G-SYNC upgrade I'll pass on it.
The Intel Core i7-4750HQ's -.5GHz idle, -.3GHz Turbo on the Processor alone is enough to make
    me say forget G-SYNC !
I hope my G751JY sitting at the ASUS Service Center in Milpitas, CA for 23 days being prepared to
return ship w/o the G-SYNC upgrade gets shipped soon. I'm glad I received no G-SYNC upgrade
if it will come w/ some other major hardware downgrade as well.

Actually what ASUS should have done from the start was offer all Owners a replacement laptop for their current one so they would all have GSYNC (of course we would have to pay something for it), and then take our old laptops and sell them on their site as refurbs with 6 month warranty, this way they would have kept some extremely loyal customers and gained a lot of new customers who couldn't afford the original prices and wouldn't mind not having GSYNC. and at the same time the amount of money they would have saved from all this shipping, hiring third parties, in house repair costs and MB costs, in my opinion this would have been the easiest and best solution, Like for like models with GSYNC at a cost to the customer, no need to send in laptops to repair centres for MB Upgrade, its so easy.
