In all honesty unless you are a professional gamer where milliseconds matter you will not notice the difference between a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse. The real deciding factor for most is just what features or configurations are you looking for? ex. mechanical keyboard vs membrane, specialty mouse vs your daily driver two button. I will say though it is always a good idea to keep a wired mouse and keyboard on hand for the poop hitting the fan scenarios.
