Try to stay as close as possible to the official memory speed supported by Intel.

I took a look. Basically what you want to do is pay attention to the clock speed and the packaging of the Ram.

From what I could scrounge up the motherboard has 4 240pin slots, and supports ram with the following speeds: DDR3 2200(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600/1333

And it can support 32 gigs.

So what you want is a pack of 4 8GB sticks. Make sure that it's one cohesive pack. I did the mistake of getting 2 separate packs of 2 8gb sticks and my computer would crash due to a bit not working out with the set up.

Also if you're planning on not overclocking, this would be the pack of Ripjaws that would fit your description: Link

There's a few others in different colors and designs.

If you are planning on overclocking, for some reason 2200 doesn't show up for Ripjaws. But there's a few 1866's

Nice suggestion Veovis, the 3770k should handle that kit well.

OK, thank you. I did some research as well and found this htthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231620&cm_re=F3-2133C11Q-32GZL-_-20-231-620-_-Productp:// so is the one Veovis found better then this? The overclocking will only be what the XMP Profile shows me. Thanks for the help.

Ripjaws z was designed for x79 boards, the trident x kits are top notch and would look nice in your board.

Click on the QVL tab and select Asus.

Uhhh. Well you could use that or Nate152's suggestion. But I wouldnt feel great about it. The main reason is that the ripjaws BONEZ posted are 2133ghz. And the trident x that Nate talks about start at around 2400ghz and go higher (unless you manage to find the 1866 which is listed.) While they are faster than the ones I linked to, their speeds are not supported as the listing of supported ram is 2200(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600/1333.

Granted im going by whats documented on newegg for the motherboard, if higer clocks are listed in the manual and the number matches, it shouldnt be a problem. But as far as I know going with the tridents or the 170$ set violates the stability/relatively little issues BONEZ was looking for.

That said. The current board has 2133 ram already in it, the 17000, and its working fine so... bonez's link should work.

As for the speed? Bonez's suggestion is faster. The 2133 has a cas of 11. The 1600 has a cas of 10. While the cas is lower on my suggestion. Bonez frequency is much higer resulting in approx 16% faster access speed.

    (Researching the tridents)
