    There are two versions of the R5E nickel monoblock, one is nickel and one is nickel original CSQ. The nickel one is clear , the original CSQ has a frosted look.
    I think the clear one would look the best just because you could see coolent better

    I agree with you on that, I like the clear nickel one myself.

    If you need any help on water cooling blocks, fittings and tubing just say so.

    EK also makes nickel water blocks for gpu's here is one for the titan x, they have them for the 980ti too.

    One monoblock to cool the cpu, vrm's and southbridge on the R5E and three nickel waterblocks for your gpu's would be all you'd need for waterblocks, they're not difficult to install but do take some time.

    This to connect three gpu's together.

    for watercooling ( custom ) you will spend around $1000 at least.

    i have not posted on here in a while and am still building my pc but i'm wondering what i would need if i just went with 1 bigger 4k monitor instead of a 3 monitor configuration? because i want to be able to play games/watch movies in 4k and be able to run any game max settings in 4k if possible

    You'd want at least a pair of 1080's or Titan X's to game at the highest settings at 4k.

    Or you could get a pair of 1080 Ti's which will be released next month, it will have Titan X (pascal) performance at a lower price.
