Check page 1-23 on the manual, you can check there how to switch the bios. Take a look at what led is lit before changing to confirm if the change takes effect...

Also you could try reflashing your bios using the rog connect method, it can be done from outside the system and form outside the bios as well...

Ok tried it. But i have to keep one of the buttons pressed till it lit. (Connect or Bios flash).
    But also nothing responds.

It should all work without CPU or Mem installed. So i do not think it is the CPU or Mem.
I think it is the MB unfortunately.

Im not sure about that, dont think you can enter bios without a cpu or with a damaged one, maybe someone more literate will jump in here and clarify this, but im almost sure a dead cpu = dead everything

    This is what i found.

How to use ASUS USB BIOS Flashback

    Recipe:
    - Motherboard with USB BIOS flashback feature.
    - Power supply.
    - USB Thumb drive with FAT32 file system.
    - BIOS file.

The minimum hardware requirements for USB BIOS flashback is to have a power supply to provide standby power to motherboard.

YES! NO CPU, NO DRAM, NO external equipment or software is required.
You may download the latest BIOS for your motherboard and place the extracted BIOS file in the USB drive
Rename BIOS filename according to motherboard model. Eg. R4E.ROM for Rampage IV Extreme, P9X79.ROM for P9X79 and etc. You may find filename for your motherboard in user manual (Figure 1)
Plug the USB drive into the white USB Port. (Figure 1)
Press and hold the BIOS flashback button down for 3~5 seconds
Wait till the LED stops to blink, then the BIOS flash will be completed.

    Youtube video guide

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADcdnwMjd_I

    Note:
The constant lid of this LED rather than flash indicates the BIOS image cannot be found on the USB pen drive used. Please try and repartition the pen drive into FAT32/FAT16, and format, re-download the image, extract, rename and copy again to see if that helps.
Power button will not work until the completion of USB BIOS Flashback.

But it is not working. Non of the buttons are lit. No buttons are working.

You may have an excessive number of things plugged into the same electrical outlet/power strip. Try offloading a few things and see if the problem persists

Ok meanwhile i took the MB out and took every component of. Left it of power for a while now.

I connected it to an empty socket but still noting.
The only thing changed is the ROG logo is now lit all the time. It is not blinking anymore.
Also on the same socket it was connected before.

Sometimes BIOS Flashback not work from first time... You can try few times.
Don't forget to format USB nicely to FAT32 and to rename BIOS File with BIOS Renamer.
You will put BIOS File and BIOS Renamer in USB Flash. Start BRenamer and press Enter. He will rename long BIOS file to R5E.CAP.
Than you can install USB Flash in port and start BIOS Flashback as you see on video clips.

I update BIOS only when really need because something. I still have very old version and next time I will update only because Samsung 950 PRO and because NVMe Support. No reason for often BIOS upgrade. And than I will ask for more stable version with NVMe Support don't need to be last at all. Same is with graphic card drivers, only WHQL version and I can't update new driver 3 months if everything work.
