Run THIS.
what drivers are shown in red ?
what is the "bug check string" and "bug check code" ?
( show us screenshot of these two tabs enlarged )

what do you run when it happens ? what is working during that time ?
what OS you have ?
which driver do you use ?

if you got weird BSOD twice a MONTH - it's not something that should really bother, in compression to BSOD or crashes that happens every few hours.

Are you sure it is not due to battery running dead while in sleep mode?

Yeah, it's almost always plugged in

Have you added/changed memory? Is CPU being tasked when it happens?

I have not made any changes to what is stock with the Asus GL551-DS74

I had 2 tabs open in google chrome, I had a word document being edited and a calculator app open at this time so it's doubtful it was my CPU being tasked, I can't find an error saying my CPU was limited by firmware or anything like that. Is there anywhere I can check for that?

Sounds like faulty RAM to me. You could try re-seating it. You can launch task manager to monitor CPU. Unless you are overheating this should not be the culprit. I would run Memtest or try removing your memory modules selectively (if you have more than one).

I'll run memtest and post the results
