Extending OC Panel Cable

I would like to have my Oc panel on my desk and not in a bay. but the cable is to short and now i was thinking about using 2 of thes to extend the cable. http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Cables&type_sub=USB%20...
and i was wondering has someone tried this before? will this even work?

tank you man i didnt even know those existed. but damn 30-40€ for a cable that is step.

I just bought 2 of these and removed the unused pins

Same can be purchased here, red or black, I have found shipping is extremely slow but it eventually arrives
