Hello all.
Anyone who can tell me what CPU would be a good replacement for the amd FX770k 3,5ghz CPU, standard cpu on G20bm.
its FM2+ and im having trouble choosing one, been looking into Athlon x4 870k @ 3,9ghz

It really depends on what you need your system for, it's also very hard to find or buy FM2+ CPUs now.

I would personally recommend the A10-7850K for performance but honestly FM2+ is just too old now, maybe you should consider upgrading your system.

apparently amd is releasing a10-7890k and athlon x4 880k. is the A10 better than Athlon? isnt Athlon a budget cpu?
im doing some light gaming.

The A10s will definitely perform better than the Athlons which are budget CPUs.

If you're just doing light gaming then maybe a Athlon X4 860K or Athlon X4 870K is good enough for you but depends on what games you're playing and what graphics card you have in your system. The Athlons may bottleneck some of the higher end GPUs but of course it wouldn't make sense to have a low end CPU with a high end graphics card.
