My guess is yes as he hasn't posted on this or anything else in 10 months.

I can say one thing, this was not an update issue. I don't know why the first answer is always to do a clean install. Had he chosen that route he would need a key either. I updated the same machine from Win 7 to Win 10 pro without a hitch. My bet is it was purely driver related. Had the OP simply ran DDU then reinstalled the Nvidia driver package he would have most likely been fine. If not it was a hardware failure and just time to replace the machine.

Since this thread was talking about a clean install of Win 10, which is what I want to do since my upgraded version won"t complete new update, I would like to ask a question.
I transferred iso to usb, booted into setup from usb, got past language and keyboard selection, and then a driver was requested. Of course, it didn't specify what driver, said it MAY be for a DVD/CD player, hard disk, or something else. I have done clean installs before with Win 7, and remember having to press F6 to install SATA/Raid drivers before Windows could see my hard drive, but I don't think that is the issue here, because I can browse my drive and see all the files on it. Anyone have any ideas how to get past this point, or what drivers could possibly be required this early in setup? I haven't even gotten to the point of re-formatting yet.
