I am using Paragon outside windows (WInPE) to do backups of my SSDs periodically. Paragon recognizes the NVMe drives.
I am currently using this as an external HD for backups with USB 3.0:

http://www.thessdreview.com/our-reviews/samsung-t3-portable-ssd-review-2tb/It takes about 20 minutes for the Paragon Disc utility outside windows (PE) to image the SSD drives. I can't tell if the SSD external will work faster in this environment. I can't find good benchmarks to answer this question. Any idea how much faster the external SSD will be here? Thanks.
