I am using Paragon outside windows (WInPE) to do backups of my SSDs periodically. Paragon recognizes the NVMe drives.

I am currently using this as an external HD for backups with USB 3.0:

But this was just released. An update on Samsung's external SSD drives:

It takes about 20 minutes for the Paragon Disc utility outside windows (PE) to image the SSD drives. I can't tell if the SSD external will work faster in this environment. I can't find good benchmarks to answer this question. Any idea how much faster the external SSD will be here? Thanks.

I have a the prior version that I have used to bring files home from work, in windows it is a very fast drive, i have no idea in WinPE, it may depend on the USB drivers

The process is as fast as the slowest component. I wondered about the speed of the drive in winpe. Thanks.
